Substance abuse is a problem we face quite commonly in the workplace. Employee assistance personnel and senior employees often lack the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with substance abuse within legal and ethical guidelines. In this module we explore prevention and intervention strategies, substance abuse information, laws and legislature for dealing with employees in the workplace, addressing issues like drug testing, disciplinary, treatment referral and more.
